Every Agent in Fluent has its own inbound email address. Email a document to that address and Fluent will pick it up, extract the key fields, and route it through your workflow automatically.
The email address format
An Agent's email address looks like this:
("Agent Name")@{"company"}.fluenterp.email
For example: orders@acme.fluenterp.email
Finding the address
Go to Manage Team > Agents
Open the Agent you want to use
Open the Communication section — the email address is shown there with a Copy button
Sending a document
Attach your document(s) to an email — PDF, image, Excel, XML, and most common formats are supported
Send to the Agent's email address
Fluent picks it up, extracts the data, and creates a request in the Documents list
Attachments and the email body itself can both be processed together as one request.
Who can email the Agent (whitelist)
Each Agent has a sender whitelist so only trusted addresses can submit documents. Admins configure it under Communication > Whitelist and can add:
Exact addresses —
jane@supplier.comWhole domains —
*@supplier.comSubdomains —
*@*.supplier.com
If the whitelist is empty, the Agent won't accept any inbound email.
Tip: Ask your customers or suppliers to forward their POs and invoices directly to the Agent's address. Many teams set up automatic forwarding rules from a shared mailbox (like orders@yourcompany.com) to Fluent.
