How to Update Your Panel's Firmware

Learn how to update your 2GIG GC3 panel's firmware to ensure optimal performance and operation.

  1. On a USB-compatible device, download the following file: gc3-3.2.6.6770-prod.2gig.

  2. Go to your Downloads folder and right-click on this file. Select Rename and ensure the file name is "gc3-3.2.6.6770-prod.2gig".

  3. Save the renamed file to a USB drive.

  4. Insert the USB drive into the top of the panel.

  5. Enter the 4-digit master code to begin the update. The update normally takes about 5-10 minutes.
