3 - AAA Batteries
Instructions:
Ensure the panel is disarmed.
Remove the smoke detector from its base plate by twisting counterclockwise.
Remove the old batteries.
Wait 15–20 seconds.
Install 3 replacement AAA batteries.
Reinstall the smoke detector by lining up the grooves and twisting clockwise until it clicks into place.
Check the panel to ensure the error has cleared.
