Honeywell Smoke Detector - Low Battery

Learn how to troubleshoot and fix the low battery issue of your Honeywell Smoke Detector

What You Need:

  • 1 – CR-123A Battery

Instructions:

  1. Ensure the panel is disarmed.

  2. Open the sensor by twisting the sensor cover counterclockwise.

  3. Remove the old battery.

  4. Wait 15–20 seconds.

  5. Install a replacement CR-123A battery.

  6. Remount the smoke detector by lining up the grooves and twisting clockwise.

  7. Check the panel to ensure the error has cleared.
