GE Smoke Detector - Low Battery

Learn how to resolve the low battery issue with your GE Smoke Detector

What You Need:

  • 2 – CR123A Batteries

Instructions:

  1. Ensure the panel is disarmed.

  2. Open the sensor by twisting it clockwise and removing it from the mounting bracket.

  3. Remove the old batteries.

  4. Wait 15–20 seconds.

  5. Install 2 replacement CR-123A batteries.

  6. Place sensor back on mounting bracket and twist counterclockwise until it clicks into place.
