Exporting Slides in Fluent

Fluent offers three export options for sharing slide decks: a public link, exporting to Google Slides, or downloading as a PDF. Each method uses the Share & Export menu, and overflow warnings appear if slide content exceeds the layout limits.

Updated over 3 weeks ago

Step 1: Open the Share & Export Menu

  1. Once your slide deck is complete, navigate to the top-right corner of the editor.

  2. Click the Share & Export button in the pop-up menu.

  3. You will see three options for sharing your slides:

    • Public Link

    • Export to Google Slides

    • Download as PDF

Step 2: Share Your Deck via Public Link

  1. Toggle Public Link to enable link sharing.

  2. Fluent will generate a unique, view-only URL for the deck.

  3. This link allows clients to interact with the deck in real-time, always showing the latest published version.

  4. Copy the link to your clipboard and share it in your preferred channel.

  5. Any updates you make to the deck in Fluent will automatically update the public version.

Step 3: Export Your Deck to Google Slides

  1. Click Export to Google Slides.

  2. Fluent will generate a static Google Slides version of the deck.

    • This version does not include Fluent’s dynamic features but can be shared or have additional slides added manually.

  3. Overflow Warning:

    • If any element on a slide exceeds the available space (e.g., long text requiring scrolling, oversized tables), Fluent will display a warning.

    • The warning will list the affected slides and provide an option to edit them before exporting.

    • If you choose not to edit them, overflowing content will be cut off in Google Slides and some data may not appear.

  4. After resolving any warnings, proceed with the export.

Step 4: Download Your Deck as a PDF

  1. Click Download as PDF.

  2. Fluent will generate a static PDF version of the slide deck.

  3. The PDF will include a link to the interactive public version if you have enabled a Public Link.

  5. After resolving any warnings, proceed with the export.
