Layer Compositor

Bring Your Layers Together

Once you have images, or text layers ready, Layer Compositor helps you bring everything together into a final layout.

Think of it as assembling your final design using building blocks.

What Layer Compositor Does?

Layer Compositor lets you:

  • Combine multiple images and text layers

  • Arrange elements visually

  • Control layer ordering

  • Resize and reposition layers

  • Edit text content

  • Adjust visibility and opacity

This makes it easy to recreate layouts from various assets in Fluidfit.

Adding Layers

You can add layers directly inside the compositor:

  • Click + Add Layer

  • Each layer appears in the Layers panel

  • Reorder layers as needed

  • Toggle visibility on/off

  • Adjust opacity

Each layer becomes a separate layer in the final PSD, keeping your layout structured.

Editing Text Layers

Text layers remain editable, and you can control:

  • Font family

  • Font weight & size

  • Alignment

  • Case (AA / Aa / aa)

  • Position

  • Opacity

  • Rotation

  • Text color

This makes it easy to fine-tune typography without leaving the workflow.

Canvas Settings

You can configure the canvas based on your output needs:

  • Canvas width & height

  • Preset sizes (e.g., Full HD 1920 × 1080)

  • Background color

  • Units (Pixels)

This helps you standardize layouts for different formats.

Export Options

Once your layout is ready, you can export in multiple formats:

  • Image File (PNG, JPEG, WEBP, TIFF)

  • Adobe Photoshop (PSD)

PSD Options

  • Preserve Layers

      • Include Hidden Layers

  • Flatten Layers

  • HTML

What Gets Preserved in PSD

When exporting as PSD, the following are maintained:

  • Separate layers

  • Editable text

  • Layer order

  • Position

  • Opacity

  • Canvas size

  • Visibility (hidden layers optional)

This makes it easy to continue editing in Photoshop if needed.

Font Rendering Fidelity

Layer Compositor preserves typography closely, and most commonly used fonts render accurately. Overall font fidelity is very high with most layouts matching the expected appearance.

Fonts That May Show Minor Visual Differences
