  • Salesloft – Connect via OAuth

  • Clari Copilot – Connect via API Key

Key Benefits:

  • Automatic call sync – Calls import to Fluint without manual uploads

  • Full transcripts – Complete conversation transcripts with speaker attribution

  • AI-generated summaries – Automatically generated call summaries

  • Action items – Extracted next steps from your calls

  • Deal context – Calls automatically link to deals via CRM IDs

CRM IDs when available for auto-matching

Note: Calls are automatically matched to deals using CRM IDs embedded in call data from your connected call platform.

Prerequisites

Important: Connect Your CRM First

We strongly recommend connecting your CRM (Salesforce or HubSpot) before connecting call integrations.

Why?

  • Calls contain CRM IDs from your call recording platform

  • Fluint uses these IDs to automatically match calls to deals

  • Without a CRM connection, calls won’t auto-link to your deals

If you haven’t connected your CRM yet, see:

Workspace Admin Required

Only workspace administrators can install and manage call integrations. If you don’t have admin access, contact your workspace admin to set up the integration.

Gong Prerequisites

  • Active Gong account

  • Admin or user permissions to authorize third-party apps

  • Data availability:

    • Calls become available ~1 hour after ending

    • Transcripts become available ~24 hours after the call ends

Salesloft Prerequisites

  • Active Salesloft account with call recording enabled

  • Admin or user permissions to authorize third-party apps

Clari Copilot Prerequisites

  • Active Clari Copilot account

  • Admin access to generate API credentials

  • Two credentials required:

    • API Key

    • API Secret

To find your Clari Copilot API credentials:

  1. Log into Clari Copilot as an admin

  2. Go to Workspace SettingsIntegrationsClari Copilot API

  3. Generate or copy your API Key and API Secret

Tip: Store your API credentials securely. You’ll need both the API Key and API Secret to connect.

Step-by-Step: Connecting a Call Integration

The integration wizard guides you through five steps: Connect → Authorize → Backfill → Sync → Complete.

Step 1: Navigate to Integrations

  1. Go to SettingsIntegrations in Fluint

  2. Find the call integrations section

  3. Click on your provider: Gong, Salesloft, or Clari Copilot

Step 2: Connect Your Account

The connection process differs based on your provider.

For Gong and Salesloft (OAuth)

  1. Click Connect with [Provider Name]

  2. A new browser tab opens to your provider’s login page

  3. Log in to your account (if not already logged in)

  4. Review the permissions and click Allow or Authorize

  5. The tab closes automatically when authorization completes

Note: Keep the Fluint window open while authorizing. The wizard automatically advances once authorization completes.

For Clari Copilot (API Key)

  1. Enter your API Key in the first field

  2. Enter your API Secret in the second field

  3. Click Connect with API Key

Tip: Double-check that you’re entering the API Key and API Secret in the correct fields. They look similar but are not interchangeable.

Step 3: Configure Backfill Settings

Choose how far back to sync historical calls:

Option

Description

Last 30 days

Quick setup – recent calls only

Last 60 days

2 months of history

Last 90 days

3 months of history

Last 6 months

Recommended – good balance of history and speed

Last year

Full year of call data

All time

Complete history (may take longer)

You can also check “Skip backfill” to only sync new calls going forward.

Note: Larger backfill periods take longer to complete. For most teams, 90 days provides good historical context.

Click Save & Continue after selecting your backfill period.

Step 4: Sync Your Data

The sync process begins automatically:

  1. Fluint imports historical calls based on your backfill settings

  2. Watch real-time progress showing user-by-user sync status:

    • Pending – Waiting to start

    • 🔄 In Progress – Currently syncing

    • Completed – Successfully synced (shows call count)

    • Failed – Error occurred (shows retry option)

  3. If any user fails, click Retry to attempt that user again

Note: Initial sync time depends on the number of users and your backfill period. The wizard shows progress for each user so you can track exactly where the sync is.

Step 5: Complete

Once syncing completes:

  1. Review the summary showing total calls synced

  2. Your call data will now automatically sync every 2 hours

  3. New calls appear in Fluint as they become available from your provider

Next Steps:

  • Click Go to Deals to see calls attached to your deals

  • Click Manage Integration to view settings or make changes

  • Click Connect Another Integration to add more call platforms

  • Contact support@fluint.io for data deletion requests

Troubleshooting

Connection Issues

Problem: OAuth authorization was cancelled

Cause: The browser tab was closed before completing authorization, or you clicked “Deny.”

Solution:

  1. Try connecting again

  2. Ensure you click “Allow” or “Authorize” when prompted

  3. Don’t close the browser tab until authorization completes

Problem: Access denied during authorization

Cause: Your account may not have permission to authorize third-party apps.

Solution:

  1. Verify you have admin permissions in your call platform

  2. Contact your call platform administrator if needed

  3. For Gong/Salesloft: Check your role allows third-party app authorization

Problem: Session expired during connection

Cause: The OAuth session timed out.

Solution:

  1. Return to Fluint Settings → Integrations

  2. Click Connect again to start a fresh authorization

  3. Complete the authorization promptly

Problem: Connection timeout

Cause: Network issues or provider API delays.

Solution:

  1. Check your network connection

  2. Wait a few minutes and try again

  3. If the problem persists, the provider may be experiencing issues

Sync Issues

Problem: Calls not appearing in Fluint

Possible causes:

  • Call hasn’t finished processing on the provider side

  • Call doesn’t have a CRM ID for deal matching

  • Call owner is not a Fluint user

Solutions:

  1. For Gong: Wait up to 1 hour for call data, 24 hours for transcripts

  2. For all providers: Verify the call owner exists in Fluint with matching email

  3. Check that your CRM is connected for automatic deal matching

Problem: Partial sync – some users failed

Cause: Rate limiting or temporary API issues.

Solution:

  1. Click Retry on failed users

  2. Wait a few minutes if rate limited

  3. Contact support if failures persist

Problem: Calls not linking to deals

Cause: Missing CRM connection or CRM IDs on calls.

Solution:

  1. Connect your CRM (Salesforce or HubSpot) if not already connected

  2. Ensure your call platform is configured to capture CRM IDs

  3. Calls without CRM IDs won’t auto-link to deals

Clari Copilot Specific Issues

Problem: Invalid API key error

Cause: Incorrect API Key or API Secret entered.

Solution:

  1. Go to Clari Copilot → Workspace Settings → Integrations → Clari Copilot API

  2. Verify your API Key and API Secret

  3. Regenerate credentials if needed

  4. Ensure you’re entering the API Key and API Secret in the correct fields

Problem: API authentication failed

Cause: API credentials may have been revoked or expired.

Solution:

  1. Generate new API credentials in Clari Copilot

  2. Disconnect and reconnect with the new credentials

  3. Contact Clari Copilot support if you cannot generate new credentials

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: How often does call data sync?

A: Call data syncs every 2 hours. New calls will appear in Fluint within 2 hours of becoming available from your call platform.

Q: Why aren’t my calls appearing in Fluint?

A: The most common causes are:

  1. For Gong: Calls take ~1 hour to appear, transcripts take ~24 hours

  2. The call owner isn’t a Fluint user

  3. Your CRM isn’t connected, so calls can’t auto-link to deals

Q: Can I change the backfill period later?

A: You can trigger a new backfill by disconnecting and reconnecting the integration. During reconnection, you’ll choose a new backfill period.

Q: What happens if I disconnect the integration?

A: Future calls stop syncing, but all previously synced call data remains in Fluint. Call links to deals are preserved. You can reconnect at any time.

Q: Do I need admin access to connect call integrations?

A: Yes. Only workspace administrators can install and manage call integrations in Fluint.

Q: How do calls get matched to deals?

A: Calls are matched using CRM IDs embedded in call data from your call platform. This is why we recommend connecting your CRM (Salesforce or HubSpot) before connecting call integrations.

Q: Can I see call recordings in Fluint?

A: Fluint syncs call metadata, transcripts, summaries, and action items. To listen to the actual recording, click the link to open the call in your original call platform.

Q: Should I connect my CRM first?

A: Yes, we strongly recommend it. Calls contain CRM IDs that Fluint uses to automatically match calls to deals. Without a CRM connection, calls won’t auto-link.

Q: Can I connect multiple call platforms?

A: Yes. You can connect Gong, Salesloft, and Clari Copilot simultaneously. Calls from all connected platforms will sync to your deals.

Q: What if I have users in my call platform who aren’t in Fluint?
