What are the warning messages you see in FluoroFinder?

Have you seen a warning message like this and wonder what it means?

FluoroFinder does more than just help you find antibodies.  Our platform attempts to alert you of potential spillover problems as you are selecting your fluorochromes.  If one of your selected fluors has a significant amount of spillover into another channel you will see a warning message like this one.

In the case above, a user chose to use PE-Cy5 in a 690/50 channel on the 488 laser. FluoroFinder knows that PE-Cy5 will have a large impact on the 561 laser 675/30 channel so this channel is blocked and the warning message is displayed. All fluors in the blocked channel appear greyed out, preventing you from selecting a fluor. The goal is to help you avoid selecting two fluorochromes that will be too difficult to compensate.

However, there may be times when you have no other choice but to use the blocked channel and deal with the possible compensation troubles.  If this is the case, simply click the "Override and open channel" button.  You will see this channel open back up for any markers where a product selection has not yet been made.  Once open, the fluors in this channel will no longer be greyed out.
