By creating a collaborative research group using the Labs functionality in FluoroFinder, you'll have more ways share and collaborate on experiments with your colleagues or lab members in one place.

To start a Lab, navigate to the "Account" tab. and select "Start a New Lab".

Follow the prompts to create your new lab and invite other researchers. Your invitees will receive an email (seen below), inviting them to join your Lab in FluoroFinder.

Once you've created your Lab, it is time add experiments. From the "Account" tab, select "Saved Experiments". Choose the experiment you want to share from your list of saved experiments and then select "Share a copy".

Keep the current name for the panel or enter a new name and then change the save destination from "Personal Saved Panels" to the new lab that you just created or any other lab that you are already a member of.

Now that you have an active Lab, members may also add panels, copy panels from the Lab into their personal account or collaborate on panels by discussing via comments. If a lab member modifies their own copy of the panel you shared with the lab it will not affect the original that you have saved in your account.

To view and manage your pre-existing Labs, navigate to the "Account" tab and select Manage Labs.ย

Add additional Lab members here, either individually, or by uploading an excel spreadsheet of emails.

Make sure your Lab Members have received and accepted your invitation. If a Lab Members' status is "pending", resend the invitation email to prompt another invite to their inbox.

Invite your lab mates to a Lab today and start collaborating! Get started
