Missing Features after Plan Migration? Here’s the Fix

With the new FlutterFlow plans going live on August 18, we’ve seen a few reports from users who migrated to a Growth or Business plan, but suddenly lost access to their Pro features. If this is happening to you, don’t worry -- the solution is quick, and we’ll walk you through it step by step.

What’s going on?

If your account was previously on a Pro plan, you were operating as an individual user. Now, with the new structure, you're likely being asked to migrate to one of the new plans: Free, Basic, Growth or Business plan.

Example:

If you chose one of the Growth or Business plans, both of these are Team-based plans. As part of that migration, a new team was automatically created for you. However, your existing project(s) might still be tied to your personal account instead of your new team. That’s what’s causing the missing features: the project isn’t yet connected to your team plan.

The fix: move your project into your new team

To restore access to your plan features, all you need to do is transfer the project to your new team. Here's how:

  1. Open the project that’s missing features.

  2. Click the gear icon in the left sidebar to open Project Settings.

  3. Select the Collaboration tab.

  4. Select your Team that was created for you to link the project to your new team that's under the paid subscription.

  5. That’s it! Your project is now connected to your Growth or Business plan, and full feature access will be restored.

Why this matters

FlutterFlow’s new Growth and Business plans are designed around team collaboration. Features like GitHub sync, feature branches, real-time editing, and more now live at the team level, not the individual project level. So if your project isn’t linked to your team, it won’t inherit those features, even if your billing plan includes them.

This new model gives you better control and visibility over collaboration, but it does require this one-time step when moving from Pro to a team plan.
