✅ New Ownership Transfer Rules (Effective Now)

You can now transfer a project to any paying FlutterFlow user — even if they are not part of your team or a project collaborator.

  • No need for a Collaborator Pass.

  • No need for the recipient to be an editor or team member.

  • The recipient must be a paying user (on any paid FlutterFlow plan).

This change makes it much easier to hand off client work or share ownership between independent developers.

⚙️ How to Transfer Ownership

  1. In FlutterFlow, open your project and go to:

    Settings & Integrations → Project Setup → Collaboration → Project-Level Access

  2. Find the current owner’s role.

  3. Select the new owner from the dropdown list (you can enter their FlutterFlow email).

  4. Click Transfer Ownership to complete the process.

⚠️ FlutterFlow Support cannot manually transfer project ownership for you.

All ownership transfers must be done directly from your project settings.

💡 Notes

  • The recipient must have a paid FlutterFlow account before accepting the transfer.

  • Once ownership is transferred, the previous owner loses ownership rights but can still be re-added as a collaborator if needed.
