How do you process credit cards?

Flytedesk uses a third-party payment processing company called Stripe to handle credit card payments. We use Stripe because they are PCI compliant, ensuring that no credit card info is ever stored on our servers or yours.

If an ad is booked via credit card it will be charged on the first of the month for any ads that had ran in the previous month. Flytedesk then sends a check to your organization on the seventh of that month.

Example: A local business books a campaign that includes three ads in April and two ads in May.

On May 1st the businesses credit card is charged for all the ads that ran in April. On May 7th flytedesk sends a check to your organization.

On June 1st the business' credit card is charged for the two May ads. On June 7th Flytedesk sends payment to your organization.

If an ad is cancelled before the run date, there will be no charge on the credit card.

*Note - We will soon release a credit card pre-pay option where you can have the buyer pre-pay an entire campaign.
