It is critical to have accurate schedules in the platform! Without schedules, buyers will not know when they can buy ads making it more difficult for you to make money.

There are different ways your student publication can schedule out collections. These are dependent on the property's schedule type.

Our platform gives you the ability to select between different types of schedules to match how you sell your products.

There are 3 different types of schedules:

  1. By day: This is for items that are sold and associated with one date (e.g. a print ad that runs on a scheduled publication date).

  2. By time block: This is for items that are sold by time block (e.g. a web ad that is sold by week or by month).

  3. None: This is for items that are not sold or booked on particular dates (e.g. posters that shipped to the publisher and are distributed on any day of the week depending on the buyer's request).

To edit your property's schedule type, follow these steps:

  1. Go to Products > Media Kit.

  2. Click on the property you would like to edit.

  3. Click on the property settings.

4. Select the schedule type that you want and hit save (see the image below).

By Time Block

If you choose the "By Time Block" option, make sure you determine the time block length by following these steps:

  1. Go to Media Kit > Products.

  2. Click on the property you would like to update.

  3. Click on its schedule (see image below).

4. Update the Increment Length: the minimum number of days a buyer is able to book.
5. Update the Minimum/Maximum: which is the minimum or maximum number of time blocks a buyer is able to book (see the image below).

6. Remember to hit save!
