Your guide to accepting national orders from flytedesk.

In an effort to simplify our national campaign process and make it easier and more efficient for you to accept our orders, we have introduced a new ad approval tool.

The purpose of the ad approval tool is to enable you to quickly review and accept a new national order, without having to go back and forth with your Account Manager.

Now, when you go to your Orders page, you will see a new tab called Approvals that allows you to review new orders and accept, reject or request changes to them.

An approved ad means that the ad placement, selected date, rate, and specs are all correct.

A few important things to note:

1. Ads will not appear in your Ads tab or on the PDF/downloadable Insertion Order until they are approved.
2. You can still approve IOs via the Insertion Orders tab, but you do not need to. We left this functionality in case it's useful to your internal team.
3. Instead of personal emails from your flytedesk rep, you will receive a mass email when a new order has been placed. You can request changes via the Approvals tab.

Important note for Ad Shop publishers: these changes do not apply to local ads. Local ads will not appear in the Approvals tab.
