This support page covers several updates to the flytedesk platform that have been added to improve the performance & user experience of managing ads & insertion orders.

Here is a summary of the recent changes & updated features detailed in this article:

Essentially, you will see huge improvement to the two tabs you see within Orders: Ads and Insertion Orders.

The Ads tab has been upgraded with the following features & enhancements:

The previous version of the Ads data table consolidated information into a few columns, which made sorting difficult, as well as displaying multiple ads in the view panel. The data table displays all ad attributes in their own column to improve sorting & visibility.

Here is a list of all of the attributes (columns) in the data table, which includes all of the information present in the previous version:

You also have the ability to export all of the above information in the data table by clicking on the download button in the upper right (above the table, to the left of the bulk action menu).

To view any of the creative & verification images, click on the image thumbnails in the Ads data table.

Images are displayed to fit your screen. If there are multiple creative or verification images associated with an ad, a carousel panel will appear at the bottom of the viewer; click on the individual thumbnails in the carousel panel to load the image.

We've upgraded the filter panel in the Ads tab to load results faster & enable more precise filtering.

You can search for specific ads based on Ref IDs. The "Advanced" filter section allows you to load ads based on a start date OR end date (rather than requiring a range).

The Ad Details "Drawer" is an expandable panel that allows you to review all of the details associated with each ad. Within the panel, you are also able to perform the following actions:

Click on the Ad Ref ID for any ad in the data table to open the details drawer.

Click on the "Creative" tab in the navigation menu to load the creative form. Here you can view, approve or reject, & download any creative associated with the ad.

Click on the "Verification" tab in the navigation menu to load the verification form. Here you can view & upload any verification images associated with the ad.

We also added creative thumbnails at the bottom of the form for improved context.

Lastly, we made some changes to your Insertion Orders tab.

The upgraded Insertion Orders tab also features the same filter & data table enhancements detailed above.

Click on the Order Ref ID for any insertion order in the data table to open the details drawer.

Click on the "Insertion Order" tab in the navigation menu to view the insertion order, with the options to download (PDF) or print.
