Please Note: Switching bidding priority may impact performance and delivery. Please allow a week for new bidding priority to adapt before evaluating again.
Bidding Priority helps Amazon DSP decide how much to bid for an ad impression based on the likelihood it will meet your goal, such as clicks, conversions, or purchases. When setting up a campaign, you can choose:
Maximize Performance While Spending Full Budget
Focuses on spending your full budget first, with a secondary focus on your goal. Amazon DSP adjusts bids to deliver impressions and ensures the budget is fully used. Choose this if you:
Need to spend a fixed budget within a set timeframe.
Prefer consistent daily spending over high performance.
Prioritize delivery over meeting strict performance targets.
Prioritize KPI Target
Focuses on hitting your goal first, with a secondary focus on spending the budget. Amazon DSP adjusts bids to improve performance but may not use the full budget if the goal is very aggressive. Choose this if you:
Have a flexible budget and want the best performance.
Accept variable daily spending for better results.
Prefer to meet performance targets over full budget use.
Maximum Average CPM: This optional setting caps how much Amazon DSP bids for impressions. It’s best used with the “Maximize Performance” strategy but not with “Prioritize KPI” as it can limit campaign results.
For best results, check campaign performance after 7-10 days and adjust as needed.
