Automated Budget Optimization helps improve campaign performance by automatically shifting your budget to the best-performing line items in real-time. Once enabled, Amazon DSP continuously reallocates your campaign’s budget 7 days a week, optimizing delivery and performance based on live data.

  • Dynamic Budget Allocation: Automatically adjusts budget across line items to focus on the ones delivering the best results.

  • Flexible Control: You can exclude specific line items (e.g., Private Marketplace Deals) to ensure they receive a fixed amount of budget.

  • Supports Various Pacing Profiles: Works with “Even,” “Pace Ahead,” and “ASAP” pacing, though using the same pacing for all line items in an order is recommended.

How to Enable

  1. Create an order and check "Automate Budget Allocation" in the Optimization Strategy section.

  2. Set your campaign budget and flight dates.

  3. For each line item, select "Automatically Optimize Budget" in the budget settings.
