Getting Started: Add Terms to Track

Add terms in Market Intelligence to begin gathering SOV insights

Updated over a week ago

To begin gathering insights into brand coverage and product rankings add search terms to track on the Terms Tracker page of Market Intelligence.

Add Terms to Track

You can track up to 1,000 search terms simultaneously. Search terms can be added based on Flywheel AI recommendations, manually, or via bulk upload.

Add Terms Suggested by Flywheel AI:

Flywheel AI now intelligently suggests search terms to track for your products. Simply head to 'Suggested Terms', review and select relevant terms added by Flywheel, select the marketplace to track, and submit.

How to Add Terms Manually:

To add terms manually enter the search term, select the sales channel (Amazon or Walmart) and county, then submit. Terms will be added to the preview section where you have the ability to duplicate and delete any terms.

Market Intelligence data is available for:

Amazon: US, CA, MX, UK, DE, FR, IT, ES, JP, and IN.

Walmart: US

How to Add Terms in Bulk:

Quickly add a large list of terms using the bulk upload option. Download our CSV template by following the steps below, and enter the search terms, sales channel, and country within the file.

After completing the template, upload your terms to Flywheel following the steps below. You will receive real-time notifications about the status of your upload.

Newly Added Terms: Fetching vs Active Status

After you add new terms to Flywheel they will appear in the Tracked Terms table. New terms are assigned the status Fetching for a period of up to 24 hours, after which point they will become Active and you can begin to run search queries on the term.

What is Fetching?

Fetching is the status assigned to newly added terms. This indicates we're in the process of collecting data needed to provide Market Intelligence insights, which may take up to 24 hours. Queries cannot be run on these terms just yet.

Once terms are Active, you can review Market Intelligence insights.
