When uploading assets into Focal, everything is automatically indexed in order to help you stay organized and find what you need, when you need it.

To filter specific assets, just click on the search bar at the top and select an option to filter by. We automatically detect asset metadata like aspect ratios, file types and video duration, so you can easily use that information to filter out the content you need.

Focal also uses open source AI models to index your assets. This allows you to search for objects, people, locations, moods, in-asset copy etc without adding any manual tags.

To try out AI search, just start typing something in the search bar and select the blue suggestion marked with an AI logo.

Focal also detects the 5 most prominent colors in your images and video thumbnails. This makes it easy to find assets just by their top colors.

To use color search, just click on the search bar, select "color" and use the color-picker or a hex code to add your input.
