You can find your Story Invitation via the Notification page, My Stories page, or email.

You can navigate to the Notification page by clicking on the bell icon at the top right corner of your screen. Here you will find any pending story invitations.

Click the invitation title to see the invitation.

Click on My Stories in the top navigation bar. You can find new story invitations under Pending. Click the invitation title to see the invitation.

If invited via email, you will receive an email from the Folktale Team asking you to contribute your story. Click 'View story invite' to see the invitation.

💡 If you can’t find the email in your inbox, please check your spam/junk folder.

When you open the invitation you will see an overview of the story you're being requested to submit.

If you haven’t already signed into your account, click ‘Sign in to accept this invitation’.

If this is your first time using Folktale, click ‘Sign up here’ to create a Folktale account. Once logged into your account, you will have the option to accept or decline the story invitation.

Once signed in, you will see the button to ‘Accept story invitation.’

If you don’t have a Folktale account, you can choose to contribute as a guest.

If you choose to accept the invitation, you will be directed to Create your story page to begin recording your story.

If you choose to decline the invitation, you will be directed to the My Stories page and the invitation will disappear from your page.
