Sometimes when you're filming a Folktale story you might wish to be able to use a piece of footage that you captured earlier on your mobile device.
With the import function you can upload video files or photos from your phone camera roll or ones saved to your computer and use them for any Showing shots.
Note: It is recommended that the length of the clip that you import roughly matches the suggested shot length in the template.
What happens when I import a photo instead of video file?
The photo will be kept on screen for the required duration and a gentle zoom-in will be added to make the image come alive and feel more natural in a video setting.
Allowing b-roll to be imported from external sources
Not all stories will have this feature enabled, however.
An Admin or Insights Manager can specify if this is something they wish to allow when sending out a story invitation or story preset. They should look out for this preference when crafting their invite:

If you need to amend the b-roll import setting after sending out your invitation, simply navigate to the Invitation Overview and click the pencil icon to amend the Imported B-roll setting.
