We've got a full-scale discount codes feature that will allow you to create anything from discounted Summer Sales to personalized discount codes for friends and family.
To create a discount code:
Go to Discount Codes
Click Create new
Choose a name for your discount code
Choose the code (this is the code students will have to input into the checkout when purchasing something, make it easy to remember)
Choose what type of discount you want to be associated with the code, you can do both
A percentage discount (1–100% with Stripe or 1–99% with PayPal)
A fixed discount in your platform’s currency
You can then choose to limit the number of redemptions for your code. If you're sharing the code with a friend, it might be wise to set the number to 1.
With Stripe, choose the duration of your discount. PayPal codes apply only to product purchases and do not have these membership-duration options:
Once - people will get a discounted price for one transaction, for example when buying a course or video, or when paying for their first month/year of any membership.
Repeating - only applicable to memberships, if you want the discounted price to last for more than one payment. You can set any number of months.
Forever - for Stripe membership percentage discounts that should continue for the subscription. Fixed-amount discounts cannot use Forever.
Choose if you want to set an end date for when the code expires. People who used the code will still have their discounts (if repeating or forever), but no new people will be able to use the code. This is a great feature if you're doing a limited sale/campaign.
