How to find, customize & share your form's public URL

Find your Formaloo form's public URL, customize the link if needed, optionally use your own branded domain, and share the form with your audience.

Every Formaloo form has a public URL that you can share with your respondents.

You can use this URL to:

  • Share your form directly with your audience,

  • Add the link to emails, social media, etc.,

  • Link to the form from your website,

  • Publish the form under your own custom domain.

This guide explains where to find your form's public URL, how to customize it, or use your custom domain for a fully on-brand experience.

Option 1: Copy the form URL from the Form Editor

When working on your form, this is the quickest way to grab its public URL:

  1. In the Form Editor, go to Share settings in the top menu,

  2. In the Publish tab, copy the form's public link, and share it with your audience:

Option 2: Copy the form URL from the Dashboard

You can also grab the form link directly from the dashboard, without opening the form in the Editor.

  1. Hover over the form card and click Embed,

  2. Switch to the Publish tab,

  3. Copy the form's public link, and share it with your audience:

How to customize your form's URL

In the form's Publish menu, click Edit URL above your form's public URL to customize the form's slug (end part of the URL).

For example:

  • Instead of: myworkspace.formaloo.me/abc123

  • You can use: myworkspace.formaloo.me/contact-us

ℹ️ The first part of the URL – myworkspace.formaloo.me/form-slug – is your workspace subdomain.

You can edit your workspace subdomain from Profile Workspace settings if needed.

How to put your form under your own branded subdomain

If you'd like respondents to access your form through your own branded URL instead of Formaloo's, you can connect a custom domain.

For example:

  • Instead of: yourworkspace.formaloo.me/contact-us

  • You could use: forms.yourcompany.com/contact-us

ℹ️ See our guide on setting a custom domain for your forms – for step-by-step instructions on adding a CNAME record, and connecting your custom domain to Formaloo.

Option 1: Set a workspace-wide forms custom domain

Add your custom subdomain URL under Workspace settings Forms custom domain.

All forms in the workspace will automatically use that custom subdomain, while their individual URL slugs stay customizable.

👀 Example:

forms.yourcompany.com/contact-us

forms.yourcompany.com/customer-feedback

Option 2: Set an individual custom domain for a specific form

If you'd like a particular form to open directly under your custom URL, you can configure it individually.

In the form's Share Publish settings, enter your custom URL in the Customize link field. The form will be accessible directly through that custom URL:

👀 Example:

contact.yourcompany.com

Want to share an entire app/dashboard rather than a single form?

Sometimes you may want to share your entire project rather than just the form itself.

Option 1: Share an app with your audience

If your project contains multiple forms, dashboards, pages, or public data views, you can publish the entire app and share app's public URL with your audience.

This is useful when users need access to more than one form, or when you intend to build a view-only public dashboard.

Option 2: Share a project with your team

If you'd like teammates to collaborate on the project, review submissions, or manage data inside Formaloo, invite them to your workspace and share project access internally.

Bottom line

You can find and share your form's public URL either from the Form Editor or directly from the dashboard.

You can customize the URL, place forms under your own branded domain, and choose whether to share a single form, an entire app, or collaborate with teammates inside your workspace.
