This document outlines how to access performance insights for your content using the new Beacon integration within Copilot. This feature allows you to directly view key metrics for your published stories.
Beacon link will be available on the story header of your content after 3 hrs of publishing the story. Simply publish your story and come back after 3 hrs and you will see a “View on Beacon” link at the top of your story page. Clicking on it will take you directly to your story’s Beacon page where you can view its performance data.
Note:
The link will be inactive (greyed out) until 3 hrs after the publishing time. The content has been published for at least three hours for the link to be active.
Beacon insights are available for stories that are published after 2018. (This will change soon. We are working on adding Beacon Integration for content published before 2018 as well)

Beacon Insights are available in Copilot for following Content types. (This list is expanding as we work on adding the support for more content types)

Troubleshooting:
If you do not see the "Beacon Insights" button, please ensure the following:
You are viewing one of the supported content types listed above.
The content has been published.
The content has been published for more than three hours.
The content was published after January 1, 2018.
