TLDR
Using the existing ‘Page Layout’ section, add Standard or Inverted Colour Themes above the fold on Articles.
Save and publish the Article for the theme to go live.
Notes & Limitations
This is currently behind a feature flag so please reach out to discuss the rollout plan in more detail.
Editors can not add new themes beyond Standard and Inverted. This needs to be done in collaboration with product and design.
If you want to discuss custom or special themes, please reach out to ben.jones@condenast.com and wayne.kettell@condenast.com via email.
You must be using OneNav to have this feature enabled.
Everything above the fold will have the theme applied. Everything else on the page will remain the same.
1. Edit or Create an Article on Copilot
Open the Article you want to apply a theme to.
Scroll down to the ‘Page Layout’ container.
2. Navigate to the ‘Header’ Tab
The ‘Header’ tab is where you configure the Content Header.
You will now see a ‘Page Header Theme’ dropdown.
If you click on this, you will be given the option to select a theme for the top of the page on your article.
3. Select your Theme
Within the dropdown, select your chosen theme.
The preview will update automatically.
