External Links, also called External References in some brands, are created for content that needs to link out of the brand’s site. They can be dropped into articles or curated lists. For example, Traveler uses External References to create the “Double Exposure” section on its homepage.
To create an external link:
Click the Create menu, and select External Link or External Reference.
Enter your Hed, Dek, the URL, any Taxonomy, and the Image for your external link.
Save your external link.
Once saved, the external link can be pulled into other content via the Asset Finder.
