External Links, also called External References in some brands, are created for content that needs to link to a different page. They can be dropped into articles or curated lists or bundles. For example, GQ Italy uses external links to promote Men of the Year bundle page on Homepage. (ref: below image)
To create an external link:
Click the Create menu, and select External Link or External Reference.
Enter your Hed, Dek, URL,Source, any Taxonomy, and the Image for your external link.
Save your external link.
Once saved, the external link can be pulled into other content via the Asset Finder.
