Curation Banner When a Brand Is on OneNav

Use the Curation Banner to display a row of curated links below the primary One Nav navigation. Links can point to articles, galleries, or other relevant content. You must have access to Verso Settings to take action.

Written by Vijay Krishna Mallik

Go to Interfaces and select Verso Settings from the list of available applications.

2. Select the Brand

Use the “Filter by brand name” search field to find the required brand. Select the correct environment, such as Allure - Staging for testing or Allure for production.

3. Open Curation Banner

Under One Navigation Banners, select Curation Banner. This opens the current banner configuration and existing links.

4. Switch from Live to Sandbox

Settings may open in Live - Read Only mode. Use the dropdown at the top and switch to Sandbox before making changes. Live is read-only.

5. Click Edit Settings

In Sandbox mode, click Edit Settings in the upper-right corner to make changes.

6. Add a New Banner Item

Click Add to create a new banner item. Enter the Label that should appear in the banner. From Add Settings, select URL. If needed, use External Link for an external destination.

7. Enter the URL and Style

Enter the destination URL. For an internal page, a relative path can be used, for example,/story/best-curl-creams. Keep Style as Default unless another supported style is required; then click Done.

8. Preview, Review, and Publish

Click Preview and review the Curation Banner. Copy the URL as shown in the screenshot and confirm the labels, link order, styling, and destinations.

Once everything looks correct, Review & Publish the changes to Live/Production. After publishing, verify the banner on the live site.

Important Notes

  • Always make and test changes in Sandbox/Staging before publishing to Live.

  • Confirm that each label is spelled correctly and each URL points to the intended destination.

  • After publishing, verify the banner on the live site and test each link.

  • Use the External Link setting when the destination is outside the brand site.
