To Access Encore:

Encore is accessible here: https://encore.cni.digital/

Accessing Encore requires you to be signed in through Okta; the same system you use to login to your emails/calendar. If you’re not already logged in, you will be redirected to the Okta login page and invited to enter your password to access the tool.

Alternatively, you will find Encore on your Okta hub app page.

Using Encore:

Now that you are on Encore, you should see a screen like this:

This screen includes:

  • Filters, to filter the list by brand, market or language.

  • A toggle to also show articles that cannot be syndicated.

  • An “infinite-scrolling” list of articles (in chronological order) published by brands supported by Encore, which means that articles will automatically load as you move down the list.

Syndicatable articles are determined according to a list of approved authors for syndication.

It includes staff from the masthead but also freelance contributors for whom we have rights.

If you notice any anomalies here, please contact victoria.syreizol@condenastint.com

Once you’ve found an article you want to syndicate, click the Syndicate button; you will see the following screen:

Select the brand/market on which you wish to publish the article and click Create draft.

After a short loading time, a link should appear to view the draft in Copilot.

Once the draft is created, review it to make sure it is aligned with the existing Syndication Policy.

What about images?

When syndicating with Encore, images are automatically copied across with the articles.

Because of that, you will need to check if you can use these images before publishing the article.

As a reminder, Getty and Shutterstock can be reused freely in the context of syndication, no need to redownload them.

What do I need to do in Copilot?

You’ll have to select which Rubric and Categories you wish to assign to the article.

You’re also advised to review important fields in the article to make sure that it is suitable for your brand. As mentioned above, you’ll need to check your images can be used.

You can bookmark Encore after setting filters and that bookmark will “remember” your favourite filters.

How can I see foreign article titles in my language?

If you’re using Chrome, you can translate all the different languages on this page with the Chrome translate feature:

  • Right-click on the Encore page

  • Select the Translate option: Translate to XXX

How can I see what’s been syndicated?

On the Copilot dashboard, there is a Syndicated Content section in the bottom left:

Alternatively, in the Search section of Copilot you can add a filter for Syndicated content under the More option:
