Copilot offers a few different settings for CNE videos within the rich text editor. To add a CNE video to your story:

  1. Hit the + sign in your "Body" or Rich Text Editor

  2. Hit the Photo icon to open the Asset Finder

  3. Select CNE Video on the left side menu

  4. Choose a video and click the "Add Asset" to embed CNE video into your article.

To view and adjust these settings, embed a CNE video into your story, then click on the video. You will then see the following settings. Use the toggle to turn on any of these options:

  1. Disable Autoplay: When turned on, the video will automatically play for readers, as opposed to having them press "Play".

  2. Muted: When turned on, the video will be set to muted. Readers will have to actively press "Unmute" to hear the video.

  3. Loop Video: When turned on, the embedded video will automatically begin to play another time once it has ended, and so on.

  4. Disable Ads: When turned on, this setting turns off all ads for the video.

  5. Continuous play: After a video ends, continue to the next video instead of stopping the player. If the video is in a series, the next video is based on the ordering specified in Admin. Otherwise, a related content algorithm is used to determine the next video.

  6. Sticky: When turned on, the video will remain visible by sticking to the top of the page as the reader scrolls, ensuring visibility.

  7. Full Width: When turned on, the video will expand to fill the entire width of the content area, creating a more immersive, cinematic experience across all screen sizes.

Aspect Ratio is the proportional relationship between the width and height of a video. The player will, by default, adopt the same aspect ratio as the video asset.

  • 16:9 – Forces the player into a horizontal format.

  • 9:16 – Forces the player into a vertical format

  • 1:1 – Forces the player into a square format.

To change the aspect ratio, update the end of the script to reflect the required aspect ratio.

Example: [#cneembed: script/video/68557eea777e2b19f67b5532.js?aspectRatio=16x9]
