Redirects are now automatically created for published Verso content when a slug is updated.

If you change the slug on any published content supported by Verso, you no longer need to contact the tech team to create a redirect. If the content you're updating is still a legacy page, you will need to contact support to have a redirect created.

Redirects for Verso Pages:

When a user updates the slug on a published piece of content that is on Verso, a redirect will automatically be created from any previous slug to the newest slug.

Redirects for Legacy Pages:

When a user updates the slug on a published piece of content that is on a legacy supported page, you will need to contact Copilot support and ask for a redirect to be created (or the SEO team if they requested the redirect). Contact support using the chat bubble on the bottom right of Copilot.

Redirects for Rocket pages (all CNI Brands):

Rocket has always had redirects automatically created. This has not changed. The workflow will remain the same.

What is a slug?

A slug is the part of a story's URL that follows the / and describes that content.

What does Verso mean?

Verso is the global platform that enables us to extend everything we build to all brands and markets around the world. We are currently in the process of migrating all of Condé Nast's sites onto Verso.

Not sure if your page is supported by Verso or Legacy?
