There is now an easy way to access Getty Images from within Copilot, which will save time and simplify image workflows. This integration is tailored toward two different Getty Images/Copilot workflows: general image browsing and specific image search.

GENERAL IMAGE BROWSING:

You can find the Getty Images integration in any modal that you would normally add images from (within the body of a piece, a story or promo image, etc.). You will see a new section within this modal entitled “Getty Image”. When selected, the search bar will search within Getty Images database of photos and will order them by “Most Popular”. You are able to adjust this sorting by selecting from the "Sort Order" dropdown.

You are also able to search through Getty Images Creative Images library. Just type in your search keyword, press enter, and select "Creative" from the "Image Type" dropdown.

When you come across an image (or more than one) that you would like to add to your content, simply select it and insert into you post. You can check and alter the meta by editing the asset.

We understand that you may still prefer using gettyimages.com to utilize their search and filtering capabilities. So to save you time, by eliminating the need for downloading images from gettyimages.com to your computer, you can now search by Editorial # number within Copilot or by Getty Images URL. This means that you can utilize search capabilities from gettyimages.com to find what you are looking for, copy the Editorial # for you image, and use it to find the content you are looking for within Copilot.

You can find the editorial number in a few different places on Gettyimages.com:

Image Meta

Once you have the Editorial #, use it the search phrase within the Getty Integration and your result should appear, allowing you to easily add it to your content.

You can also search by Getty Images URL. Simply copy the entire URL in the Getty Images window and search in the Copilot integration and press enter. You should then have the specific image you are searching for appear.

We hope this new integration can:

  • Streamline and centralize image workflows by eliminating the need to use two different interfaces

  • Saves you time by eliminating the need to download and re-upload

  • Provides more flexibility by simplifying the Getty process
