Encore is an internal tool built by the GPT Content Platform team to facilitate the easy republishing of content across Condé Nast websites. Encore aids in the discovery, adaptation, and the publication of internally syndicatable content.

How to Find a Story to Syndicate

The Encore dashboard brings together all content published on Condé Nast’s owned and operated brand websites that use Copilot as their CMS. If a story appears here, it is eligible to be internally syndicated and has been cleared by the Conde Nast legal team for re-use. Note: At this time, only the Article and Gallery content types are supported for internal syndication.

The dashboard contains Brand, Market, Language and Published Date filters to help you find relevant stories to republish. If you are looking for specific content, you can search Encore by story headline or byline.

Having trouble finding a story you know exists in Encore? You can also navigate directly to that story on the originating brand website and use the Encore Chrome Extension to initiate syndication.

Click here or on the extension icon in the dashboard to add this tool to your chrome browser.

Once this is done, all you need to is click on the extension while you are on the story and enter preview syndication mode. You will get the option to ‘create draft’ and ‘copy text’.

How to Syndicate a Story

Once you’ve identified a story to republish, click on the title of the article. A modal overlay will pop up where you can assign the brand to which you would like to syndicate the article.

Once you select the target brand, you can click the "Create Draft" button and get the content into your Copilot. There is also an option to "Copy Text" and paste into your CMS.

Another route to syndicate from Encore is from the story preview page. If you click on the brand name highlighted above the headline, you will land on the preview page. This will help you to see how the published article appears on the site with the images and embeds in place. In the top right corner, you will see the "Copy Text" and "Create Draft" options similar to that on modal. You can even choose to preview the article and then syndicate it.
