Planning content refers to the concept of organising and adding content to plans. Plans are broken down into two types, ‘Editions’ for print content and ‘Campaigns’ for digital content. Print ‘Editions’ will be pre-created for use in your brand and market according to the publication schedule, digital ‘Campaigns’ can be created on the fly to suit the needs of the digital content teams (any plan name and date range that is required).

Plans allow you to group content and sort the order, for example in a print plan you can organise your content by the section of the publication, cover, front of book and so on. Content in plans can be added and edited on the fly directly from the planning view (inline editing of the fields in the content rows) meaning you can work in one place (and use the content fly-out for any additional data you need to edit/add). You can easily move content from one plan to another if you need to push content to a later Edition or Campaign.
