Planning Details (Print Plans)

In print plans there is a section called ‘Planning Details’. This is a hidden section which you can expand by clicking the down arrow to the right of the title.

When expanded you will see 4 columns of fields:

  1. Lock Date and Budgets: Planning Lock date-picker field is the date that this should no longer be worked on. FOB, COB, BOB Budgets are purely for the editors use and have no effect on the financial reports (it just allows for editors to apportion budgets for the sections in the magazine).

  2. Creative Deadlines: These date fields are for setting the deadlines for creative work to be complete and assets to be received (there are deadlines on the contributor records as well).

  3. Copy/Proof Check: This allows for 3 phases of proof reading and checking. Each field is a date-picker.

  4. Final Dates: These date-picker fields are for the approvals and the closing date.
