Content Planner provides a 360 degree view of content budgets, estimates and actuals. This is a very powerful feature that allows granular and accurate financial planning and reporting. It allows Finance Planners to add budgets for brands and markets by year, medium allocation, month, plan and content level. It allows Editors to add estimates against fees and expenses at Content, Contributor and Provider level. Also the integrations with Workday mean automation of relating content tasks to project tasks in Workday meaning all the costs (actuals) get tracked back to a record both in Workday and Content Planner.

To access the Financial Reporting pages you will firstly need permissions to do so, if you have the correct permissions you will see a ‘Trend Up’ icon in the header navigation on the right hand side. Clicking this will take you to the finance section of the site.

There are 3 tabs at the top of the page, Content Reporting, Yearly Budgets and Monthly Budgets.
