When you visit the finance section of the site the default tab is Content Reporting. This is the place where you can view and define any sort of content report you wish to look at it. The data set returned primarily is based on the Brand(s) and Market(s) you have set in the header ‘brand and markets’ drop-downs. By default the only filter set on the view is the current year and you can not remove this filter but you can adjust it to whatever year you need to view and report on.

The Financial Data

In the content results list you can view the totals (roll-ups) for content budgets, estimates, actuals, actuals vs estimates and actuals vs budgets per content record.

At the bottom of the content results list is the overall totals for content budgets, estimates, actuals, actuals vs estimates and actuals vs budgets for all the content returned in the current list.

If the actuals are over the estimates and budgets you will see a red value with a down arrow indicating that either the estimate or budget is less than the actual vs estimate or the actuals vs budget.

If the actuals are under the estimates and budgets you will see a green value with an up arrow indicating that either the estimate or budget is more than the actual vs estimate or the actuals vs budget.

Content Record Costs

For every content record in the results list you can expand it to reveal the Contributors, Providers, Expenses and General Expenses. to expand a content record click the down arrow to expand it and click it again to collapse it.

For every Contributor you will see a roll up of the costs of that component. This includes the main contributor fees and expenses and the providers fees and expenses. When actuals flow back from Workday you will see the actual vs estimates for each fee and expense.

To expand all content records in one action click the ‘Expand rows’ toggle button. This will reveal the costs and expenses for all content records.

Filtering Content Records

Filtering the content records to get the results you need is a very powerful feature and can be accessed by clicking the filter button at the top right side of the page.

This will trigger the filter fly-out where you can refine your results by ‘Year, Month, Medium, Plan, Contributors, Providers, Network, Contributor Type, Original and Adaptation content.

When you have chosen your filters and clicked ‘Apply’ at the bottom right of the fly-out it will close and the content results list will update along with the overall totals footer at the bottom of the page. You will see all of your filter selections as chips above the content results list allowing you to remove them one by one or clear all selections.

Exporting Content Reports

When you are happy with your report and filter criteria you can ‘Export’ this to a CSV file to then use in your working sheets however you need to. To export a content results list click the ‘Export’ button to the top right.

This will then trigger a download to a download location that you specify on your computer.

Currency Conversion

To change the currency to your preferred currency or local market currency click the ‘Currency’ button to the top right and this will trigger a dropdown of options for you to choose from. Once changed the content results list will display all values converted in to your chosen currency.
