Uploading Non-Commissioned Media

By default when viewing a non-commissioned package (Visuals Research) the only folder you will see is an empty ‘Hi-Res Media’ folder. From here you can upload your media that you have sourced from stock providers or any existing media agreements you have sourced the media by (this could be fair use/public domain media, media that has been supplied by someone, a company or agency where the assets were not commissioned by Condé Nast).

The ‘Step Indicator’ is at the ‘Add Media’ step and the instructions inform the Visuals Researcher/Editor to upload media in to the folder available. The Visuals Researcher/Editor can either click the ‘Add Media’ buttons on the folder or drag files from their local file system directly on to the ‘Add Media’ marquee to start the upload process.

After adding files to upload a modal will appear to review and confirm the upload. The Visuals Researcher/Editor can add/edit the ‘Credit’ and ‘Image Description’ information by editing it in any asset tile. Media can be deleted on an individual basis or the upload can be cancelled entirely at this point.
