When you have acquired media whether Lo-Res or Hi-Res you can share this with other staff members so they can review the selections and download them to use in production if they are not using the Lucid Link streaming servers (that acquired media is automatically exported too).
When you have acquired Lo-Res and Hi-Res Media from a commissioned contributor you will see all the media in the location (Lo-Res) folders and Hi-Res folders. Any Lo-Res media that was ordered will be indicated by an ‘Hourglass’ icon on the media tile.
If you want to share this media with other colleagues then click the 3 dots icon (kebab menu) to the right of the content name title and click the ‘Share’ action in the dropdown.
This will trigger the ‘Share Fly-out’ to open and you will be presented with a set of options for sharing.
In the ‘Share Fly-out’ you will see options to:
Add Users: Search for users to assign and share the media with
Instructions: A text area for an optional message that is included in the email notification
Share Media: This is either ‘All’ (Lo-Res and Hi-Res Media) or ‘Ordered Media’ (this only shares the media that has been ordered, Lo-Res and Hi-Res)
Send Button: Once users have been added you have set the correct permissions click ‘Send’ to trigger an email to them with the ‘Share Link’
Shared with: This table lists all the existing users and the permission levels they have. To remove someone click the three dots icon (kebab menu) to the right of the user name and click the delete action on the dropdown.
Once shared the recipients will receive an email to view the package.
