When you send a Lo-Res Media request to a contributor they will receive an email (example below) containing details of the content assignment, this lists the content details and provides a link to Intake Portal.

  1. Brand Logo: The Logo of the commissioning brand

  2. Contributor Name: The commissioned contributor

  3. Brand & Market: The commissioning brand and market

  4. Notes: Any instructions that were entered in the request

  5. Instructions: Any instructions that were entered in the request

  6. Content Name: The name of the content as entered in Content Planner

  7. Editor: The Editors name as point of contact

  8. Shoot Date(s): Date(s) the shoot is planned to commence

  9. Upload Lo-Res Media Button: A link that takes the user to Intake Portal where they can upload Lo-Res media

When a Contributor clicks the link in the Lo-Res upload email they are navigated to Intake Portal where their primary goal is to upload media and submit it back to Condé Nast.

The upload page displays the Content Name as the title e.g. ‘Photos of GEORGIAN HOUSES’. The ‘Assignment’ details are displayed on the left which are received from the content in Content Planner. These are read-only and are for reference.

The available details are:

  1. Editor: The assigned Editor/Owner of the content

  2. Visuals Editor: The person responsible for media sign-off, if a Visuals Editor is not assigned the Editor will usually do this

  3. Contributor: The assigned contributor

  4. Brand: Condé Nast Brand

  5. Market: Brands Market

  6. Network: Global, Local, Europe, Americas, Asia Pacific (where the content is intended to be distributed)

  7. Medium: Digital or Print

  8. Shoot Date: The intended shoot dates

On the right the ‘Step Indicator’ is at the ‘Add Media’ step and the instructions inform the contributor to upload media into the folders available and submit to the editor when ready.

The contributor can either click the ‘Add Media’ buttons on each folder or drag files from their local file system directly on to the ‘Add Media’ marquee to start the upload process.

After adding files to upload a modal will appear to review and confirm the upload. The contributor can edit their ‘Credit’ information in bulk by editing it in any media tile, by default it is the full name of the contributor that is held in the Condé Nast database. Media can be deleted on an individual basis or the upload can be cancelled entirely at this point.

Once the contributor completes the upload by clicking the blue ‘Upload’ button in the modal it closes to reveal the folder populated with media.

At this point the contributor can add additional media by clicking the ‘Add Media’ buttons on each folder or dragging files from their local file system directly on to the ‘Add Media’ marquees.
