When you send a Hi-Res Media request the contributor will receive and email with the Hi-Res upload link (example below).
When the contributor clicks the ‘Upload Hi-Res Media’ link they are navigated to Intake Portal where they can upload, enrich and review their media before submitting it back to the editor.
As this is a Hi-Res Media only request there is no Lo-Res ordered reference media to be displayed.
On the right the ‘Step Indicator’ is at the ‘Add Media’ step and the instructions inform the contributor to upload media into the folders available and submit to the editor when ready.
The contributor can either click the ‘Add Media’ buttons on each folder or drag files from their local file system directly on to the ‘Add Media’ marquee to start the upload process.
After adding files to upload a modal will appear to review and confirm the upload. The contributor can edit their ‘Credit’ information in bulk by editing it in any media tile, by default it is the full name of the contributor that is held in the Condé Nast database. Media can be deleted on an individual basis or the upload can be cancelled entirely at this point.
Once the contributor completes the upload by clicking the blue ‘Upload’ button in the modal it closes to reveal the folder populated with media.
At this point the contributor can add additional media by clicking the ‘Add Media’ buttons on each folder or dragging files from their local file system directly on to the ‘Add Media’ marquees.
Once the contributor is happy with their upload then they need to submit this to Condé Nast notifying the editor that the Lo-Res Media is available for them to review. To do this they click the blue ‘Submit’ button in the step indicator.
This will trigger a confirmation modal to confirm submission and then a success notification will appear confirming the upload has been submitted to the ‘Editor’. Once media has been submitted it is no longer editable.
Once the contributor has submitted the Hi-Res Media an email will be sent to the editor notifying them (example below).
When the editor clicks the intake link in the notification email they will be navigated to the folder view in Intake Portal where they can view the upload from the contributor and make additional requests if they wish.
To view exported media click the ‘Hi-Res Media’ button at the top right of the page next to the ‘Bag’ button.
You will be navigated to the ‘Exported Media’ page that displays a list of all content that has been exported to Lucid Link with the original upload timestamp and the date exported timestamp.
