This article guides you on enabling subscription tickers or banners on your homepages and channel pages. These visual elements can effectively promote subscriptions and encourage viewers to subscribe to your content.

Step 1: Creating an external link
Click "Create" in the Copilot menu on the top right side of the page and choose external link from the dropdown.
"Create" -> "External Link."
Update the "Title", "URL", "Source" and "Site Image" fields
Here's how these fields will map to the Ticker that your audience sees on your bundle pages:
Title - The text that appears in the banner
URL - This is the URL you would like users to be redirected to (e.g., your subscription page / an article page)
Source - This is the CTA text that you would like to appear on the banner (e.g., "Subscribe now", "Read More")
Site Image - The image you would like to be displayed in the Banner.
Click "Save" to save the External link.

Step 2: Adding the external link to the bundle page
Open the bundle page you would like the ticker to be displayed on and add the "Ticker" component to the bundle using + icon. If you do not see the option, please reach out in the chat bubble and the product support team will be happy to help you.
Note: All Verso Channel bundles likely already have a Ticker component.
Step 3: Add external link to the Ticker component
Once you have added the Ticker component to the bundle, add the external link you have just created under the "Items" section of the Ticker component.
For that, you simply click on "Add Content" and select the external link you have created
Click Save and Preview/Publish and you should be able to see the Ticker on the bundle page.
Making Changes:
To update the ticker content (text, image, CTA), simply edit the external link and re-add it to the bundle page. Changes will automatically reflect.
You can also access the external link by simply clicking on it within the Ticker component.
