You can directly upload PDF files right into your stories. This new feature simplifies your workflow and makes creating content even easier.

How it Works:

  • Open a story in Copilot (for example, an Article): Start drafting your content in Copilot in the body field.

  • Upload Media: Click the "Upload Media" button

Select Your File: Choose the PDF file you want to add. You can Edit the Display text by clicking on the link text.

When you upload pdf, by default, the "Open in new tab" option is toggled. It's recommended to keep the toggle enabled as users can return to the story after going through pdf.

After a successful upload you’ll be provided with a permalink to the hosted PDF file that can also be used in newsletters, social media, or any other distribution channel.

How it will appear on the site:

The PDF link looks like a linked text. When readers click on the link, the PDF opens in a new tab and readers can download the PDF from their browser.

Note: The maximum size limit you can upload is 30mb.

If you encounter any issues, please don't hesitate to contact the product support teams via Copilot Chat Bubble or on Slack at #technology-site-issues. We are happy to help.
