How to Use the Audit Trail in RoutingBox Classic

RoutingBox logs every change made to a record in the record's audit trail.

The Audit Trail exists on various record types throughout the system and allows you to see a history of changes made to the record.

  1. Access the Audit Trail by clicking on the File Cabinet icon on the record.

  2. The Timestamp column indicates the date and time at which the change was made in the system.

  3. The Record Type column indicates the type of record data that was changed.

  4. The User column lists the initials of the User that made the change.

    1. Hover over the user initials to see the full username of the User that made the changes.

  5. Clicking each row of the Audit Trail will display a detailed breakdown of the specific fields that were changed, and the values that they were changed to.

The audit trail stores any past changes so in the event something was changed in error you will be able to find what the value used to be.

You would simply need to go back through the past audit trail events and find where the data was originally entered.
