The Frame Set application has made it even easier for members to submit frames. Members can now easily see how far along their submission is in the process, from submitted to in review, completed, or rejected. By utilizing this feature, you can easily submit frames and track their progress through the submission process.
How to use this feature:
You can also find the page under the member profile drop-down menu in the upper right-hand corner, under the resources section.
On the submission page you can submit new titles by clicking on the “Submit a new title” button, as well as see the status of your formerly submitted titles.
Once your title has been submitted, its status will show as PENDING until it has been reviewed by our curation team.
The status will update to APPROVED as soon as your film has been accepted.
Once frames and motions have been selected, its status will change to PUBLISHED and a link to the title on Frame Set will appear next to it
Submission criteria:
Here are some reasons why submissions may be automatically rejected:
Burn-ins: captions, subtitles or logos which remain throughout the film
Spec Ad: These should be submitted as short films, not commercials
VFX Heavy: The film relies heavily on computer graphics or animation
Low Quality: The streaming quality too poor
Duplicate: The film is already credited in the Frame Set library
No Credits: The Director, DP, Editor or Colorist must be credited in the submission
