Linking applications is a useful way to keep track of two related applicants — for example, business partners or potential shareholders applying together. Since each applicant needs to be assessed individually, every applicant should have their own application. Linking two applications makes it easy to navigate between them.
Everything happens on the application card.
How to link two applications
Open the application of one of the applicants. On the Overview tab, find the 'Link Application' row on the application card.
Click 'Link' at the end of the 'Link Application' row.
The 'Link Candidate to another Application' pop-up will open, showing a list of applications and their details.
Use the 'Search' field to filter the list and find the application you want to link.
Search for the applicant using the search bar (1), click their selection button (2), then click the blue 'Select' button (3). Each step is numbered in the image below for easy identification.
Done! The applications are now linked. The linked application will appear in the 'Link Application' row — simply click the applicant's name to open their application and view their report.
Note: once two applications are linked, the link is visible from both applications. If you have more than two applicants involved (for example, several potential shareholders), we suggest logging a comment on each application with these details so you don't lose track of the relationship.
