Dealing with Duplicate Email Errors

Step 1: Navigate to the Contact Screen

When you come across the "A contact with this email already exists" error, don't worry. Instead, navigate to the contact screen within our system. This is where you can manage all your candidate records efficiently.

Step 2: Search for the Existing Contact

Once you're on the contact screen, use the search function to find the existing contact. You can search for the contact using their name or email address.

Step 3: Access the Contact Record

Upon locating the existing contact, click on their name to access their contact record. Here, you'll find a treasure trove of information about the candidate, including their name, email address, phone numbers, home address, and any notes associated with their profile.

Step 4: Check for Active Applications

One of the key benefits of this approach is that you can easily see if the candidate has any active applications against their record. This allows you to stay updated on their current status within your recruitment process.

Step 5: View Historical Data

The contact record also provides you with a comprehensive view of the candidate's history. You can access information about any previous enquiries, applications, or assessments they've completed. Step 6: Update Contact Data

If any of the contact data has changed, feel free to click “Edit Contact” and update those details.

With all the necessary information at your fingertips, you can now initiate a new enquiry or application directly from the contact record. Simply click on "Start Enquiry" or "Start Application" to kickstart the process without the need to create a duplicate contact.
