A potential franchisee, usually the term used for someone in the process of applying to be a franchisee.

Contact

A potential or actual franchisee. This section of FranchiseLab enables the user to create a record and capture salient details such as candidate phone number and email address.

Enquiry

This is the stage prior to the application stage. Once an enquiry is created, relevant documents and further information may be recorded, and the candidate may be assigned a user (‘assignee’), a priority, and one of several statuses (New, In-Progress, Hold, Closed, Proceed to application).

Application

If/when a candidate proceeds to the application stage, candidate assessments can be sent, completed and reviewed (the Information Request, Self-Assessment and Final Check). Documents and the history log remain available in this stage. Applications can be assigned a status, similar to enquiries (New, In-Progress, Withdrawn, Declined, Approved).

Status

Enquiries and applications can be assigned a status to help with workflow and categorisation.
Enquiries can be assigned the following statuses: New, In-Progress, Hold, Closed, Proceed (to application).

Enquiries and applications can be allocated an assignee from your company’s FranchiseLab users to manage them.

Priority

Enquiries and applications can be assigned a priority grade (Urgent, High, Normal or Low).

Administrators and Users

Users of the FranchiseLab system can be either an ‘Administrator’ or a ‘User’. This role can be viewed and assigned/changed by Administrators in the ‘User management’ section of Settings. Administrators have access to and the ability to modify settings. Users can see all contacts, enquiries and applications in your company’s FranchiseLab system.

Information Request

An assessment which gathers detailed information from candidates about areas relevant to running a successful franchise, such as their background, aspirations, previous professional experience, finances and health. Once candidates have completed the Information Request, a report is generated detailing the information and calling out any areas of particular interest or concern.

Self-Assessment

A short questionnaire for candidates, which provides information on how they score on 16 attributes important to franchisee success. Once candidates have completed the Self-Assessment, a report is generated with their results.

Final Check

The Final Check Assessment helps you conduct a structured interview and provides you with a professional assessor guide with questions to ask each candidate. It also enables you to objectively rate their responses and automatically converts these into a user-friendly report. This ensures nothing is overlooked and there is consistency in how candidates are assessed.
