How to create an application

This article will provide a quick guide on how to create an application on FranchiseLab Recruiter

An application is where you can track information, documents, and assessments for candidates. Applications can be created by either creating a new contact or for an existing contact, who may be returning after a while to apply again after their situation has changed.

How to create an application for a new contact

1. Log in to FranchiseLab.

2. Click on ‘Applications’ on menu bar on the left.

3. Click ‘Create New Application’ button at the top right of the screen.

4. Complete details for new application within the ‘Add Contact’ pop-up screen and click ‘Create Contact’ button (note ‘Start an application’ field will be automatically selected).

5. Enter Franchise Location on ‘Add Application’ pop-up screen if known/relevant, and click ‘Start Application’ button.

New application will automatically open once created. It will also now be listed on the main ‘Applications’ page.

How to create an application for an existing contact

1. Open Contacts page by clicking on ‘Contacts’ on left hand menu bar after logging in.

2. On the contacts page, find and click on the contact you wish to create an application for.

Note you can use the ‘Search Contacts’ field to find the contact, or click the arrow beside ‘Name’ to sort alphabetically.

3. Click ‘Start Application’ at the bottom of the Contact Details pop-up screen.

4. Enter Franchise Location on ‘Start Application’ pop-up screen if known/relevant, and click ‘Start Application’ button.

5. Go to Applications page to view/open the new Application for the contact.
